Pretty Irises! It's time for fresh flowers around here, so I treat myself to the cheapies every couple of weeks :) George got this nice new vase and I put it to use.

Each spring these flowers appear along the highway and roadside here. They are my favorite!!!!! Makes me smile as I drive by.
For Date Day part II, G took me to lunch at Oceanside Harbor. I had never been; it was a pretty day and we had lunch up there with friends. Oceanside is about 35 miles north of where we live.
Then on to the tide pools. We got there as high tide was coming in, so we couldn't see anything in the pools; most of them were covered already. But the scenery was enough for me.
This rock was so cool; and there are definitely living things right there!
